    My mom's half ukrainian........so I'm 1/4. I know how to make homemade perogies tho, so that must up my percentage huh?

    is this by any chance what I know as 'piroške'? if it is - oh, that's yummy and I haven't had it in years (I so should learn how to make it!).

    my mom was ukrainian (galicia region) -- she taught me a lot of the recipes, and a lot of pride in our heritage.
