I want to get my naval pierced in a few weeks, but I was wondering how long I should wait before exercising afterword (Days, weeks, etc). Right now I'm doing the 30 Day Shred, but I obviously can't do that for a while. I'm wondering about things like crunches, jogging, and things like that.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I thinks its like a week. But they will tell you when you get it done.0

It'll be months before it's 100% healed, but the initial sensitivity should be gone within a week. My biggest problem was being short-waisted so that the waistband of my pants often hits right at the piercing.0

BTW, if you get pregnant, take the piercing out at the beginning of the pregnancy. Don't wait.0

I wouldn't worry about it...I worked at a tattoo shop for a few years (receptionist/piercer), had multiple piercings and would workout the next day. Just take a shower afterwards and use some saline spray on the area. Don't go rolling around in the mud or anything, and leave it the heck alone, the more you touch it/mess with it the longer it will take to heal.0
