I think the 30 DS is shredding my knee

...cause man is it sore and it's only been sore since I've started doing the video :frown: It sucks because I really like the video but I don't want to kill my knee in the process. I stopped doing the jumping jacks and replaced them with jogging in place. What else could be hurting it? Would a knee brace help do you think? Ugh...this sucks

I had to stop at about day 13 due to knee and hip problems. I just completed 12 weeks of TurboFire with no problems. I also use KettleWorx with a 10 lb. kettlebell. Hope this is helpful!

a lot of people have knee issues from 30ds. it could be an issue with your form on the squats and lunges, or it could be the plyo. try the modifications from now on and really make sure you performing the exercises with proper form. maybe get someone to watch you doing it to make sure your knees are dropping over your toes during lunges and squats.

I had knee issues prior (they hurt to ride a bike) but they haven't bothered me in quite awhile until I started doing this video. I'm aleady doing a lot of modified moves. I thought your knees weren't suppose to go over/past your toes. I try to make sure they don't.

I have had knee problems in the past too. i have to watch my jumping - which is hard because I get so into it.

I have found it gets better as my legs get stronger. Not sure about any science behind that, but it's the case for me.

I think 30 DS has strength, so it'll probably just get better as you go. But you might need 2 days off or so to get those knees better. THEN resume with NO jumping. for now...

I didn't have knee problems until I started 30 DS. It turns out when I was doing my squats I was pushing up through the balls of my feet instead of my heels. Once I switched that, the knee problems weren't so bad. Good luck!
