Jillian Michaels Body Revolution Progress

Hi Guys,

Have done 30 Day Shred in the past and when a friend mentioned JM had a new fitness DVD, I had to give it a go.

My weighloss journey started on the 13 Feb 2012 with a SW of 80kg. To begin with I started following the Firm Fitness Thin in 30 and also lowered my calorie in take. Then on the 13th March I finished Thin in 30 and started on Body revolution.

To begin with I wasn't sure, but I'm now I'm 7 weeks in and today i finally reached my 2nd goal.

I had originally set a goal to lose 1 stone by the end of March which I did, so the next goal was to reach 10kg off by the may Bank Holiday.

This morning I stepped on the scales and I did it........ 10 kg gone forever.

13th Feb 2012
SW 80kg
Chest 38.5 inch
Tummy 43.5 inch
R thigh 26 inch
L thigh 26.5 inch
R arm 13.2 inch
L arm 14 inch
Waist 33.5

13th March (starting JM Body Revolutin)
W 85kg
Chest 37 inch
Tummy 39.5 inch
R thigh 25 inch
L thigh 25 inch
R arm 12.5 inch
L arm 12.5 inch
Waist 31

8th May (7 weeks in)
W 70kg
Chest 33.5 inch
Tummy 33.5 inch
R thigh 21.5 inch
L thigh 20.5 inch
R arm 12 inch
L arm 11.5 inch
Waist 28.5

Total weight loss of 22 lbs and 34 inches.

Really seeing the inches drop off with Body Revolution.

Next goal is 7lbs off by the June Bank Holiday.

    Hmm...I just might have to check this out! Your thigh measurements have piqued my interest, since that is my trouble area!

    Thanks Katapple, I would recommend it. Lots of lunges and other moves for the thighs :)

    Awesome results for 7 weeks into it! I just started Phase 2 yesterday and loving the workouts.

    Congrats thats great thanks for sharing with us iam on 2nd week of JMBR not losed any weight but already my clothes feel looser so hopefully be 7wks i will have losed some weight

    It really is a good workout program.

    I find I dont get as bored with it as I did while doing 30DS.

    Its definintley great for the inch loss, anyone doing it feel free to add me or send me a message :)

    Just the workout but I've also lowered my calorie in take to 1330 daily while eating healthy options

    The set is 3 Phases- Each Phase has 4 Work Outs and a Cardio Work Out that are done each week (12 week program)

    that is awesome! I started it but it was way too easy for me... I even skipped a week or two and nothing. Even with 'pushing the up button' and doing all the modified advanced moves. Definitely going to have to switch to weight lifting, I loved JM though and 8 of her videos got me into great shape. Such great shape that her videos are now too easy! bah!

    Excellent!

    I am in week 3, phase 3. I love it. I feel so much stronger, healthier and happier. I've lost about 18lbs and plan on maintaining my fitness well beyond BR! Jillian is amazing. I am totally thriving off the structure & strictness of the program. I think I would have lost more weight, but between a couple of vacations and the warmer weather (beer at the river...) my loss has been slower than expected. But, that said, I still have muscles that didn't exist before, and feel awesome!

    Wow, that's awesome! I ordered a few of her DVDs and haven't started yet, 30DS and Extreme 30DS and another one, I can't remember. Also, Buns and Thighs, but I don't have that as a problem, the exception of thighs, soo, we'll see if I like the others!

    Thanks hwines, it really is a good workout and 30 mins is easy to achieve daily.
