Does anyone have any good suggestions on different strength/resistance training workouts
I can do at home or does not require expensive equipment?

I'm going to try out this one:
    http://maggiewang.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/turbulence_training_4-week_bww_cm.pdf

It uses body weight resistance and goes in three 4 week cycles. It's also free. (a very good price! )

Thanks!!! will check those out! Im just trying to find ways to cut down cost. i do see the value in being a gym member but cant really afford it at the moment
  • I bought the book "Abs Diet for Women", and it has workouts that can be done at a gym, and on the following page shows an alternative excercise that works the same muscles and can be done at home. It also has some great diet and nutrition information, and easy to make yummy recipies. The excercises target all body parts and has a lot of great combination moves and various levels to move up to as you get stronger.

I highly recommend it! I got it on Amazon, and I have not yet needed to purchase the excerise videos. I think it was about $15. It has been way more than 6 weeks, and I have not yet lost my baby fat (from my second child who is now almost 4 - yikes) but I am way more toned than when I started, and I have not spent a dime on a gym membership. I think I had much further to go in my weight loss and flabby tummy inches than his average target audience... :blushing:

    Hope this helps!
