Hey guys,
I'm starting couch 2 5k this afternoon (finals are SO close to being over and I have a ton of energy!) but I wanted to know if there's an easy way to track it? Since I'm running less than a minute then walking, do I just keep track of the minutes then add minutes of running and minutes of walking? Is there another system I'm not aware of?? Ha! Just let me know.

I would just add up the number of running sequences, enter that separately, and then add up the number of walking sequences. OR if you have a HRM, you can enter the total number of calories burned without breaking it down. Good luck with C25k, it's awesome!0

I have the app on my iphone which tracks it. Two other things that i use is a workout watch which tracks how long I am exercising and how many calories i am burning. Makes it easy to input into here. Another toy i just got was the nike sensor and use the app on my iphone also. Hope these help.
I am on week 2 and this is my second time i started it. The first time i did not rest in between workouts and did it every day and really hurt my knees. Now i am going slower and giving my body time to rest. Good luck!0 -
Which app do you use?0

I run Pedometer Pro while I am running my C25k app. Pedometer Pro tells me how far I've gone (distance), calories burned, and average speed. That's how I log my C25k....if you take a look at my diary, you can see how I log it.0

I assume you are using an app. I just looked at my overall pace for the duration of the run/walk. If my overall pace was a 12 minute mile, that is 5 miles per hour. I logged it as running or walking at 5mph for 30 minutes. It's just an average, usually. If my pace was 10:22 minute mile, I just average it to 5.5 mph for 30 minutes. I tend to underestimate my burns a little, just in case.0
