Another, another friend question....

I just found out that someone who I though was my "FRIEND", I use that term losely.....found out today that I like mustard. I don't brag about it, but yes, I like mustard. There, I said it. Well, instead of coming to me and tallking about it, she goes and starts talking behind my back, starting a thread and basically outing me to all of my MFP buds. Why would anyone do this. Why couldn't she just come to me and we could take care of this like adults. If she had just told me that she does not like the condiments that I prefer....I certainly could have used her alternately flavored condiments in order to maintain our relationship. I just don't know what to think. Ideas?

    Well, I am (was) her friend, and I do like Mustard. But if I am not the one she was talking about, please don't tell her. I don't want to loose her friendship unnecessarily ya know???

    She was OBVIOUSLY not a good friend in the first place if she couldn't come to you first and talk to you about liking mustard before throwing you under the bus. You don't need her.....

    OMG finally another mustard lover. I would say her loss mustard is the best condiment ever! Maybe she is afraid of the greatness that is mustard. Maybe she is a closet mustard lover herself.

    Truly if she was your friend, she would have talked to your first about your "issue". Nobody is perfect in this world and we all would like to believe that our friends would tell us if we're doing something wrong.

    Your friend has obviously never tried REAL German mustard. I highly recommend Kuhne senf Mittlescharf. I have a friend who sends me a case of it every year. I need to add him to my will. He's a REALLY good friend.
