I just reset my nutrition and fitness dairy, and I put 0minute for exercise. MFP told me that if I stay within my calorie intake, I will loose 10lbs by june 12th without exercising. How can this be possible? As bad as I am, I am willing to give it a try b/c I hate exercising.

I modified my calories ONLY for the first 2-1/2 months and yes, I lost weight. A deficit is a deficit, no matter how you get there.0

if you eat less calories than your body burns then yea you'll lose weight without exercise0

I have lost 78 pounds in 6 months with basically no exercise...not that it was a great idea but it just happened that way. I have just started some exercise to get the last 20 off and be healthier and more fit.0

It's possible, and it's what I'm going for. However you do have to watch out because when our bodies have calories they need to get from our own body, they get it from whatever is easiest. If you are working out, those muscles are being built and used so it won't be broken down, but if you aren't using the muscles then they could be broken down (how we lose strength over time when we don't continue doing something). Sadly our bodies don't say, "hmmm, I'm going to only burn fat."
I am doing the same thing though. Trying to become healthier without too much exercise (outside of work anyway).0
