I plan to start running (never done before) and joining a gym to do strength training (returning to it after many years).

Didn't lose as much as I expected this week according to the scale but my body has definitely changed so I got's to keep on pushing..0 -

I thought I lost 2 pounds since last week! I have really been watching my sodium intake. Which may account for the 3 pound drop.
For this week's challenge, I bought a barbel five years ago (Never been used). This week I plan to look for it, and buy two 2.5 pound weights. Start doing strong squats!0 -

I am trying something new by making sure I give myself positive, daily affirmations that I can do this! I am focusing on stopping negative self-talk in it's tracks and turning those negative thoughts around into something positive. Most of the challenge for me is mental - We can do this!!!!
Week one weight 144.4. I was shocked at the amount lost and am thinking it might be water weight.0 -

Week 2
Starting weight was 148.8. Last week I weighed in at 144.4. this week I gained 1.6 lbs and weigh 146 . I did burn 2,638 calories though exercise and completed the challenge by scheduling my first ever appointment to get my cholesterol checked. Don't worry ladies, I am back with a vengeance this week and expect the scale to move in the right direction0 -
