A-MAZING SKIN!

Okay so before I started MFP I would eat around 1 fruit 5 veg a day and now I'm eating 2 fruit and about 13 veg a day and my skin is A-MAZING, I've never had acne just the occasional pimple but my skin never felt silky smooth, now not one blackhead, pimple or anything my face feels like a babies bum!! Anyone else noticed this? I've always drunk between 2-3 litres of water a day so it's not to do with that, Just wondering what other unexpected results people have had?

    Less hair falling off, and stronger hair growth.

    I found the best thing for me about eating healthy is that I don't have that horrible bloated feeling after meals.

    By the way....your skins does look wonderful !!

    I too have noticed a better complexion. I don't think for me its what I'm putting in my body, if not what I am no longer putting in it....ie fried, fatty foods. I will go several weeks without eating any junk food and one small fry from Wendy's flares up my skin :grumble: so I have been so vain lately that I would rather not even eat the junk to keep my skin looking nice :laugh:

    I have really awful skin and have suffered with acne for a long time, I have noticed quite a big improvement in my skin, as well as my hair and nails! (:

    im less moody and naggy when i dont eat crap and drink lots of water :-)

    I don't have the best genes when it comes to acne and skin tone, but it definitely improves drastically when i'm 'on it' with my fruit and veggies :) or rather, i get an absolute pizza face if i let procesed food into my life!

    All the exercise/sweating is making my skin break out waaaaay more!!!:( Oh well, gonna keep doing it anyway!!

    Woohoo!! I'm trying to grow my hair longer so I'm happy so many people are finding that a pro!! I have cut most of the 'crap' out of my diet.....chocolate is my downfall I only let myself have it if I have calories left but I've thrown it all out today because Ultimately I don't want those things to be in my diet but only on special occasions! I have also noticed I have so much more energy!!!

    Lol I still have pretty bad acne :( I don't really eat that many fruits and veggies though. I should eat more. I'm a bigger fan of fruits than veggies.
