If I run e.g. 7 mph for a certain time on a treadmill, will it burn the same amount of calories as if I would run 7mph for the same time outside ?

It should. Maybe more depending on if you run over hills.0

Generally speaking, yes, you will. But you'll find that running 7mph on a treadmill and 7mph outside will feel completely different. I can usually go a lot "faster" on the treadmill than I do outside, because treadmills are just easier to run on. If you do a short run, the calorie difference probably won't be that big, but longer runs past 2 miles or so would probably show different amounts, since running outside takes more effort from your body overall.0
