    I am relatively sure it's a misguided attempt to motive women by comparing ourselves to a generic standard of beauty.

    If you need motivation, you got it. Since I don't open links, here are my generic motivational phrases that I tell myself when I'm sweating my *kitten* off in the gym:

    You can do it. Stick with it. All people deserve to be beautiful!

    and lastly, "Five more minutes, just five more minutes then I can die.":laugh:
