I have three canisters on my counter top, that used to be used to store cookies, or seasonal candies.
Since starting MFP I have started filling one with shelled pistachios because its and easy, timely, healthy snack.
What would you put in the other two??

A $1 bill for every time you exercise.
Then you can take the money out every 60-90 days for a treat - like a pedicure, massage, new clothing, etc.0

Kale Chips would not hold up well to being a cookies jar. They would just fall apart.
I would just put the cookie jar away in a cabinet. Use the counter space for a blender or food processor. Something that you could use in making healthy meals.0

Dog cookies. My dog likes poop snaps. They're like ginger snaps, but taste like poop.0

The only thing I can keep out in plain sight like that is fruit (oranges, apples, and bananas). Anything else and I want to snack on it every time I walk by. Even if it's something healthy, I can't snack that much and stay on track.
I keep all other snacks in the pantry so I only see them when actually looking for food, but that's just how my brain is wired.0

Unless the jars hold meaning to them, I would keep my favorite jar and get rid of the other two. Personally a cookie jar is a cookie jar, and no matter what I fill it with, I will always be reminded of cookies.0

Freeze dried fruit maybe (cause it's sweet). Mine have sugar free mints and my favorite teas. I get the teas that are individually wrapped and they are attractive as well as yummy . 0 . 0
