It's about food addiction. I have had a few pals that this has helped. I just bought it last night, and so far I like it.

So glad you got it!!! :-D Like I said, it's not really a practical guide. But reading it helped me think deeply and sort through some of the issues that cause me to overeat.

Once you REALLY get to the bottom of your issues, it becomes easier to stop stifling your emotions with food. One of my favorite quotes from the book is "Food is not going to save your life." Eat when you're hungry. Don't eat when you're not. Sounds like a simple concept, but I am no wired like a normal eater and that's why I love her books. :-)

I'm not reading it, but I've heard some reviews on it. It's less about God and more about emotions and psychological issues involved with eating.

I'm reading it.....still. I'm about halfway through it.....still. I like it so far. My HLP recommended it, and I'm so glad she did!

hahaha I'm gonna miss oprah's guidance. I looked it up on amazon and may have to add it to my summer reading list, alongside Game of Thrones ;)

I just started reading it this morning. It's been sitting on my shelf for over a year. I sobbed during the prologue - surely that's a sign!
