My mom makes awesome Halibut. She BBQ it. She melts butter with cilantro, fresh sliced garlic and some lemon juice and then bastes the fish with it. It is so good! Just spray the grill so the fish doesn't stick or use foil over the grill grates. Hope it helps! Enjoy!0

Halibut is one of the best tasting fish!! Maybe because it has no "fishy" taste. Use aluminum foil. Use a cooking spray to spray the entire piece of foil. Place fish on foil, and add butter, lemon, and herbs of your choice along with garlic. Salt and pepper to taste, and put onions on the top. Seal the foil all the way around and bake for 25 minutes... less if it is a small piece of fish. If you have any leftovers, this fish makes the BEST sandwich spread... halibut, onion, celery, and mayo. mix and allow to chill for about 4 hours before serving.... it is SO good!!!
My favorite thing to do is to go online and use google to find great recipes!! there are SO many!!0 -
look up "poor mans lobster" on line, basically you poach it in water seasoned with old bay seasoning, and it truly tastes like lobster,,, great on salads later too:happy:0
