How to Burn the Most Calories?

Basically, I was wondering what exercise (cardio) burns the most calories in an hour for those time-crunched individuals? Thanks!

    You can do high intensity interval training in which you actually burn more calories after your workout than a normal steady state of cardio for 30-40 mins. A sample routine on a bike would be- 5 minutes to warm-up, then 20 secs fast, 40 secs slow x 10, and then 5 minutes to cool down. It's great when you don't have much time.
