Any one else?

If I have wet nails I can't rummage through the fridge. Hence my nails have never looked better!

    YES! I was hoping someone else would post something like this.
    I do my nails every Friday :D And I have a ridiculous amount of varnishes and glittery top coats.
    I think it's an addiction.

    I would love to able to do nail art but I am useless at it! I have long and quite strong nails and I always have them painted and manicured in some form....today they are black with OPI silver shatter on top! Thats about as complex I can get which makes me sad :(

    Thank You! I do them myself :) I can't afford to have them done professionally (student budget) so had to learn myself!

    I have 7 plates so far of all different types – some full nail coverage, some quite small and intricate designs and some nail tip designs. The ones for your full nail are the easiest, but none of them are particularly difficult once you get the hang of it and it’s pretty quick. The only thing I find sometimes is that if I put top coat on immediately it can run the colour of whatever I’ve just stamped, but that’s literally the only problem I’ve had with it, which isn’t a big deal.

    There are some really nice tutorials on interesting designs on youtube as well and you can get a pretty good deal on kits from www.konadwholesale.com (I think that’s what it was called anyway – that’s where I bought a friend’s from for cheaper than I bought my own).

    If you get this I’d recommend getting the cleaning kit as well because it can sometimes get a bit tricky trying to do your nails and keep the plates, scraper and stamper clean all at the same time without accidentally catching your freshly painted nails (well, if you’re clumsy like I am!). :)

    I'm no good at doing a whole nail stamp so I tend to do the ones for tips (but I like to put them at the base of my nail) as I find them a lot easier to position. When I try to do a whole nail I end up missing one side :grumble:

    I just use any polishes I can get my hands on, mainly Barry M and Model's Own from here in the UK. I went to a big drug store today and saw an Essie stand and almost cried! They're so beautiful but so expensive!! Thank you everyone :) x
