    for reasons i dont quite understand i never started my journey with measurements but i do know i started off wearing 42 jeans and now can fit 38s.

    Don't have measurements, but started out at a 28 and just fit into a pair of 20's this morning :) Obviously have farther to go...but I could just about cry lol.

    now depending on the make 8-12 in pants and a Medium in a shirt

    I used to wear a 2. Now my size 6 pants are very tight. I'm so upset...and I wonder HOW did I get like this? If anyone would like to help me, I would appreciate the support. Thanks.

    The clothing industry definitely does not get together when it comes to sizes. As a woman, it is SO hard to find true clothing sizes without trying it on. Just trying to see if there is a pattern with certain body measurements and height etc! Humor me if you will and participate in the poll! Also interested if you know what size you are in specific brands. Trying to find some correlations. lol

    Started at 26W (with stretch fabrics) - 28W (without stretch) - was 327 lbs.

    Currently 16W-18W depending on how the pants are cut and whether I buy petite sizes to wear with flat shoes - 237 lbs.

    Not sure on sizes but I'll give it a good guess (I'm 5'6" tall):

    Waist: Start - 48"; Current - 38.75"
    Hips: Start - 60"; Current - 47.75"
    Bust: Start - 46"; Current - 40.5" (when will my waist finally be significantly smaller than my boobs? LOL thank goodness for broad shoulders!!!)
    Neck: Start - 16.5"; Current - 13.5"
    Shoe Size: Start - 10W; Current 9
