yoga advice needed

So I went to my doctor yesterday. Had to bring my baby in. First thing he said to me was to compliment me on my weightloss. Yay! Then we discussed my SI that keeps going out on me. He told me to strengthen my core. Six months post baby, 25 pounds down, but many more to go, so I know my core needs strengthening! He told me I should add yoga into my routine. BUT I am the least flexible person I know. Anyone know of any good yoga dvds for people that are beginners and can't touch their toes? And I mean a dvd for someone that isn't even ready for beginner yoga...lol

Yoga is great...I am so not flexible either and I have been practicing "gentle" yoga for years - there are lots of YouTube "gentle yoga classes' that will help you strengthen your core and provide lots of other benefits like reducing stress which would probably be a good thing for any mom! Many Yoga studios have gentle yoga classes too. Good luck!0

This Winsor DVD is good for beginner. If I remember correctly, the basic step-by-step just goes over the moves in the 20 min workout. But the 20 min workout is killer. http://www.amazon.com/Pilates-Workout-Step-By-Step-Accelerated-Sculpting/dp/B00077BD7A0

Be extra careful with your SI when doing yoga. You really should take a couple of classes with an experienced teacher first and learn modifications to keep your SI stable.0
