Hello There : )

Hi fellow fitness people! I'm Jessica I'm 28 ( soon to be 29) and I'm sick of looking back at pictures from 2 or3 years ago when I was depressed but looking good at 140 lbs. I'm a happy eater, a sad eater, I eat out of Borden...the list goes on...the only time I can't seem to eat is when I'm at the end of my rope which luckily isn't very often : ) My manager at work told me about this app...she has inspired me! I will be much more AWARE and feel a lot more accountable now everytime I feed my face! I have two amazing children who keep me on my toes and in my spare time which is every other weekend I love to sleep, clean, shop, read, tan, and be social oh and work.

    Hey Jessica,

We sound similar in the reasons why we eat!

Welcome to MFP =] Hope you find it helpful and will add you as a friend.

    Hi Jessica!
Sounds like we are in the same boat. I'm 28, 29 in September. I'm sick of looking at pics from months ago and not recognizing who I am. I don't feel like I'm in such a big body, yet here I am. MFP app has definitely helped, and after 8 weeks I've lost 9 pounds.
Recognizing you are an emotional eater is the hugest step in my eyes. Now you know you are an emotional eater - time to fix it!

    What I've been doing:
While at home: every time I went to eat something that wasn't part of my meals/snacks - I literally found something else to do. Read a book, go on a walk, do anything else. Play a game with your kids, just anything not to eat.
Celebrating: We used to celebrate everything through food. Now, I take the money I would have spent and put it aside in my exercise fund. New shoes, new shorts, it's all going to last longer than 1 meal.

Welcome again to MFP, and feel free to add me!

    Hi, welcome aboard.

I only have two bad eating patterns. I eat too much when stressed and when not stressed :) The journal here has show me how much I graze when i cook meals. I love to cook.

Welcome! I'm rather sick of looking at pictures of myself from years and years ago, and wondering how I got to the weight I am now. Anyways, add me if you please! Good luck. :)

    Hello Jessica and everyone else,

I am new here too. Just started a week ago, but already lost 2 lbs - yay! I am 30-yr-old mom of one and I eat when I'm bored, stressed, happy, sad. It's gotten a bit out of control. But I am excited to get back to being healthy.

Looking for friends in my demographic. Add me if you'd like :)
