People should look at the background before they take pics

Just saying . . . when you look at some of the pics that people post, you can see dirty laundry, food, clutter and other stuff around that just kinda takes away from the subject at hand. Perhaps folks should take a look at their surroundings and what will actually be in the picture before you take it or at least post it. Wouldn't want anyone to be embarrassed!!

be careful, if there is underwear in that dirty laundry, it's a policy violation0

I love the bathroom mirror pics with the toilet in the background!0
-
At least it's not a toilet full of pee!0

You can see a cardboard box with toys and my younger daughter in my profile picture.
If anyone wants an explanation, my older daughter has broken 200+ dollars in toy boxes... so now we use cardboard boxes.
But really, why does it matter what is in the background?0 -

Or something else "floating" about     :sick:0 -

This one guy on a dating site took a few pics and in the background were clothes, table full of stuff and there were pipes exposed in the ceiling suggesting he was either in a basement or attic. He just said he was living with family members...BUT I would have looked those photos over before I post them0

This^^^^ The only full length mirrors we have in our house happen to be a mirrored door on my daughters wardrobe.
she is 20 months old and would be impossible to follow around picking up after 24/7, so there are regularly toys strewn about and shes even in the background of some of my pictures playing lol. Also I tend to take of my top layer of clothes to take new pics and they are usually just laying on the floor next to me.
I dont think it matters either tbh0 -
Unless its poo, what does it matter..

It doesn't necessarily "matter" to anyone else other than show what a dirty person the person posting/taking the pic is. Does children's toys in the background make you a dirty person? Most likely not. Does food all over the floor and counters and trash strewn about? Most likely.
I think the point is to take pride and either clean up or crop it!0 -
We must all endeavour to pay a photographer for their studio and time any time you want to put a picture up on a fitness forum.0

HaHa, Right. I just look at the progress! I dont really pay attention to the detail in the background. Unless it's that obtrusive, which I have yet to come across :ohwell:0

Maybe people do look at their pictures before they post them and they're not embarrassed by having a little every day life in the back ground! If all you're looking at is what's in the back ground then you're the one taking away from what's at hand, not them! Just sayin'!0 -

That's hot (hot $hi*) hahaha0 -
If I feel I'm looking HOT and want to strike a pose, I could care what's in the background. You're suppose to be looking at me anyways...0
-
Well on that note, I'm off to the gym!

Pfft, who would even consider doing anything less. How can you possible maintain your online persona if your true self is popping out all over! ?0 -
