What do you do about posting a food from a restaurant that is not listed? I have been trying to guess at the ingredients but it seems really inaccurate. Any ideas?

Check the restaurants website. Many list nutritional values.

If it's not a chain......make educated guesses and call it good.

I would check online, Google it. That's what I do, normally if I am going out to eat I look at the menu and nutritional values before I go so I know how much each item is worth and I plan my meal out like that.

If it's not, then you would need to take a guess and maybe make the calories more than you think it is, just because you aren't sure.

Ugh, I feel ya. I eat at a lot local places and they don't have calories listed anywhere. I love Jimmy John's cause you can go on the website and cater the sandwich to EXACTLY what you ate. Starbucks too, but they aren't really food.

Educated guesses have to work otherwise. Over time you'll get better at estimating the weight of food, etc. Seriously, food scales - best purchase I ever made. Helps so much and takes a lot of guesswork out of things. Not that I suggest you take it to a restaurant, but still!
