MFP says if I golf for 4 hours pulling my clubs I will burn 1588 calories. I have a hard time believing this so I only put down 2 hours. What do you think?

I think it's nonsense. Golf is not that big a calorie burner. It's lots of fun and all activity is positive, but I would never consider golf a substitute for a workout.

I had the same issue today! I golfed for 3 hours and it said something crazy like that, so I cut it in half too!
It is fun and you are probably doing more than you think, but I don't think that much more........Hope you had a good game anyway!

Might not be as good a workout for you as it is for a 200 lb 67 year old woman. Just sayin'

I burn about 450 calories an hour at the driving range so it is definitely plausible..
