    Or am-buh-lance or liberry

OH YES!! Also, people who say "carmel" instead of "caramel." Like carmel apple. UGH!

TONED, TONE, TONING. They don't really belong in the Fitness Industry. A snow job of a word to camoflauge the word "weightlifting" to sound more feminine to get females to lift during the 80's.

Haha! Actually had to look to make sure you weren't my daughter. Her peeve is "carmel" instead of "caramel".

I don't like to hear the word "puke". No reason. Just grates on my nerves.

    "Just sayin"

Redundancy: it makes me want to bite them.

My basic reply is: anything that is misspoken or used as text talk other than 'lol'. People no longer know how to enunciate or spell.
I will never understand the reason for not being able to fully spell a word. It takes an additional two seconds. 'Mommy speak' as well seems to rub me the wrong way.

    "I know how you feel"

No you DONT. This phrase angers and upsets and offends me like no other.

Please, for the sake of everything good and decent, do not say this to people who are grieving. Especially don't say it and then follow it up with a story of how your goldfish died. YOUDONOTKNOWHOWIFEEL.

    /endrant.

whew. Thank you. Needed to get that out.

Oh this is a HUGE pet peeve of mine.

I got the whole "Oh I know how you feel" after my dad passed away suddenly (he was 46), I had been 18 for a week.

the C word that rhymes with punt. HATE. it.

Yup! 100%. I once threw a shoe at my brother for saying that. I also feel the need to stop people regardless of if im in the conversation or not if they use that word.

Actuall, any time a word that describes womans body parts in a derogitory way in conversation is used... I'm done with that conversation.

My sister hates this word too. I hate poor grammar and when people completely butcher the English language when typing or talking. I don't expect perfection, but I expect legibility and the ability to follow basic rules. I ALSO HATE WHEN PEOPLE TYPE IN ALL CAPS.
