Why recalculate?

After weighing in on MFP today, it asked me if I wanted to recalculate my nutritional and fitness goals because I had lost more than 10 pounds. How would it recalculate them? Should I do this? I don't want to add more calories because I'd like to lose more weight. Any advice?

Yes, I do it. Because you weigh less now, your calorie limit is less.0

Yes recalculation is necessary. A smaller you requires less energy to move it around. It's highly unlikely your calorie allowance will go up. It should drop gently each time you recalculate.
I recalculate every 10lbs or so.0 -
