question for those w/ gauged ears ..
i'm new at this, so i dont know the different things to do - so ...
my lobes are stretched to a 4g. i have flared bone plugs in. I love them, but they are bugging the fuck out of me because they are constantly falling out so easily now. if i just go up a gauge, they same thing will most likely happen from the bigger gauged flare, correct?
what do you wear that seems to stay put?

a lot of the students I work with have these. They wear a plug that is shaped approximately like the Hurley sumbol....with a flare on each side, and narrower in the center. But I think they are wearing those once they have arrived at their desired size. IDK if it works while you're still in the process.0

try looking for talons or plugs with a bigger flare but the same size you're at.0

I've also seen ones that are shaped like a big curve, or a spiral(sort of). Those seem more secure too.0

Look for bigger flares in the same size should solve the problem. Or just go up to the next size!0

If you want to stay at your size, silicone eyelets are great, or single flared plugs ( the kind with an o-ring on the back).
To tighten up a little bit so your jewelry doesn't continually fall out, take the jewelry out when you sleep. It will help the hole close up a bit.0 -
but you'd have to stretch your holes to fit in the bigger flares, which is what i think i'm trying to explain?0

If you go up a size, don't throw double flared jewelry in, it will damage you ear. Stick with single flared jewelry when going larger.0
