Ok, I was wondering if it is bad to eat too few calories, if you're really not hungry.

Today i've only eaten under 900 cal net. and I'm not hungry. Will this hurt me?

    Very occasionally, it's fine. :-)

It's just bad if it escalates and becomes more and more often. If you're not hungry, and it seems to be happening a lot, eat slightly higher calorie food. Sometimes liquid like milkshake or juice help make up the calories.

    Hope this helps xxx

^^ Agreed! Once in a while it's fine. Not a good habit to get into though as your body needs the fuel! If you find it's a problem frequently switch to higher calorie foods like the previous poster suggested. You can also add calories with very little food by eating things like nuts, peanut butter, etc - for very small amounts you can increase calories quite a bit.

Nope. Focus on your calories for the week. It tends to even out. Obviously, if your lack of appetite is unusual and it continues you should see a physician.
