    Grew up in Springfield, have tons of family in Peoria. Lucky enough to live in Houston for 30 years. Still go home to visit but, only during warm months.

    Very southern Illinois. City of Metropolis, home of Superman :) There actually is an enormous statue of Superman, and another one of Lois Lane. We have a riverboat casino too. You can drive 15 min across the river and be in Kentucky.
