i have sprained ankle, splint, an cruches. what can i do for work out!?

Hey, I have a pretty badly sprained ankle as well, been injured since December. I do 5 - 6 days of strength training a week (I just break it down into groups like legs, back, chest, shoulders and arms and work one group twice that week. Usually, chest or triceps because those are my weakest muscles right now) and my doctor has recommended swimming to me, but I haven't started that yet. I will in a couple of weeks, though. I don't know how long you've had the sprain, but eventually you can add short walks (but check with your doc first). I have to be careful on leg days but I still do lunges, squats and deadlifts. If my ankle starts to hurt, I just back off a bit (less weight).0

i sprained it yesterday. and i have a splint with fiberglass so i cant get it wet. i have a laxed ankle because i have rolled it multiple times on the same spot same ankle. i need to be careful, but i will try to isolated movements thanks! just sucks i cant get cardio in.0
