I would consider eating back your exercise calories.

There will be people who say not to eat, others who say to eat half and the rest that would agree with me.

With only eating 1436, you aren't actually getting the correct amount of energy when you exercise, so you are only essentially eating 1145 which is no where near enough.

Try adding more chicken to your lunch. Add more greens and maybe some potatoes with your dinner or rice. I find rice to be quite filling for the amount that you cook and it's not exactly that high in carbs.

I would say your 86 calories for 40 mins very brisk walking seems very low?

    Like your food diary

    Well balenced

Just watch you are eating enough for the exercise you plan to do - if you get to the end of the day and are too hungry then all the planning will go out of the window

    Good luck

(i always plan my days food and exercise right at the beginning of the day so i can add or take away as required)

A good tactic, one I use sometimes too. It seems to work.

    Suggestions:

1 Cup of eggs is about 5 eggs, you might want to cut back a couple
Spread those calories (from breakfast) out over your other meals
Find the other 355 calories (assuming MFP has already reduced your intake for weight loss) and eat what you burn!
I burn 80 cals/km, so dianellen2 is right, 86 cals for 40 minutes seems low

    Good luck!

Agreeing with everyone else. Eat into your exercise calories. Try to find more healthy protein, it is in lots of foods - more chicken and rice or couscous and definitely agree with trying to share your calories across your meals, so you balance out your protein and carbs - have a look at my previous diaries they might help you. Make sure you keep hydrated!

I love the fact that you are really trying and you are learning from this, that is so positive - you will get there :-)
