Count me in, too! I have needed a really good reason to stop checking the scale more often than I should and this is the motivation I need!

ok, I'm in. I don't have a scale, but I've measured myself and have figured my body fat... ugh! I go back to see my dr on 5/5/12, and I will weigh then, but in the meantime, I would love to participate in this!

Alright, this isn't particularly easy to do but here are my starting measurements...

    Weight: 164
    Neck: 13.25
    Left Arm: 12.5
    Right Arm: 12.5
    Chest: 30.75
    Waist: 28.25
    Stomach: 31.25
    Hips: 41
    Left Thigh: 24.5
    Right Thigh: 24.75
    Body fat: 25%

My goal is to be 155 by June 20, so I may extend the challenge for myself past June 11 and see if I can make it to the 20th without stepping on the scale. My workout routine is Insanity and today I finished the first month of workouts. Recovery week then on to Month 2 which should really help shed this fat quickly!

I'll jump in there. I have an addiction to the scale! I weigh several times a day. The good side of that is I understand how fickle water in the body is at different times of the day/week/month, so I'm not flustered when the scale goes up. But at the same time, I feel like I'm stuck in quicksand because I'm always watching the fluctuation and not seeing real motion losing.

    Count me in!

    Starting BF% 47
    Starting W 236.9
Short term Goal BF% 45 (Avg loss .5%/week)
Short term Goal W 229 (Avg loss 2lb/week)

    Lean body mass (0%BF) 125.5
    Long term Goal BF% 25
    Long term Goal W 168

    Measurements:
    Neck: 15"
    Bust: 48"
    Bra line: 40"
    Stomach: 44"
    Waist: 42"
    Hip: 46"
    Bicep: 13"
    Thigh: 26"

Yes, I'll give it a shot. I currently weigh every day and it's not helping. If I lose a bit, I find myself slacking....if I gain a bit, I find myself saying the heck with it and slacking. Either way, it's not helping me!!! Thanks for the great idea. Will keep in touch!

I was obsessed with the scale when I first started losing weight. The number I saw would totally affect my mood and I found that it was doing more harm that good. I stopped cold turkey and did not weigh myself for 2 years! It was a huge help. A trick that worked for me, is taking pictures. I don't know if it seems shallow, but I'd take pictures of myself all the time. If I liked what I saw, it was motivating; and if I didn't, I knew I better step it up!
I compete in Brazilian JiuJitsu now, so unfortunately, I have to watch the scale, but good luck guys! This is an awesome idea!
