Runners?

How often do you wear your good running shoes? Do you only wear them when you are running? Do you wear them all day when you are running errands? Do you wear them when you are healing from a running injury so you have the extra support?
I was just curious about this. I have some nice running shoes that I bought not to long ago. Swore I would only wear them when running, so they would last longer. I pulled a muscle in my calf a few weeks back and started wearing my shoes all day because they feel the best on my injured leg. Now that my leg is almost healed up I am wondering if I will be able to get myself to stop wearing them all the time. They are just so comfortable..lol
I have Saucony, Cortana's them

My running shoes only get worn when I'm going for a run. After they get retired I will wear them around but that's it.0

I also only wear mine while I'm running. Once I get too many miles on them they become my gym shoes. I really dont ever wear running shoes/sneakers of any kind any where else anyways.
I don't think wearing them all the time is bad, they just won't last as long for you. So your choice girl!!0 -

I wear my fitted running shoes only when I go out to run - I wear off the shelf training shoes the rest of the time. Only reason I don't wear my good ones all the time is that they cost £90, so I need them to last as long as they can for running. If they cost the same as the more casual shoes I'd wear them all day0

Thanks for all the responses! I will probably follow suit and only wear my running shoes for my runs, now that my leg feels better. I do want them to last longer, they were not cheap!0

I save them for my runs to keep them from wearing out. They're kind of like my running uniform. When I throw them on I mean business. When I get a new pair I'll sometimes use the old pair day to day, since they might still be comfortable but not in running shape.0

My running shoes are only for my runs...all runs.
I have other tennis for all other activities.0
