will try posting this again as I miss spelled the title on the last thread...
Just got my BMF this past week, been using it , have not taken it off other than to shower. I love it !
I am curious what you do in regards to eating calories and your daily burn and what kind of success you have had. Have you followed the 500 cal less than maintenance idea or have you done the 1000 deficit idea that BMF sets you up at ?
I have heard one idea from a girl who eats what she has burned by supper time as her daily allowance so anything that she burns from supper to midnight creates her deficit....
Any ideas or suggestions how you used this tool to lose weight would be welcomed. Thanks !

I'd say for the first few weeks the "eat calories until supper time" is a great method. Then you can adjust as necessary!0

I have one and generally burn an average of 3000 calories per day, including exercise. I try to keep my calorie intake between 2000-2300 so I have a deficit of 700-1000 daily. I have lost 13.4 pounds in the 7 weeks that I have had it so it seems to be working for me.0

Hi I just got one too. I set it to lose 1lb a week as I only have 5 to lose. My tdee is alot higher than my fitness pal calculated. Tdee is about 2300+ so I need to be eating 1800. So 1800 is my net compared to 1360 on mfp. Oh dear I'm scared to net 1800. Eek.
What is yours coming out at? Shall
I add you x we can do it together? I keep thinking .. This is most accurate device so maybe we have to trust it??0 -
After wearing mine for months now I have quite a good idea depending on my exercise programme for the day where I will end up - I personally try and have a deficit between 750 and 500 calories below what my BMF reads for the day.....
So I set my menu plan in the morning - especially on my 3200 burn days so that I start eating more from breakfast - and not have to deal with a massive amount of food at the end of the day....
So now my BMF is really just a confirmation of my day .......
Depending on what time you eat dinner the concept of eating everything to dinner might work - personally I only eat dinner when I get home from gym (between 8:30 and 9pm) so that would not be enough of a deficit for me ....0
