Found this image online--thought it was interesting. Never knew the ACTUAL guidelines for different shapes. I'm not disputing/condoning/making judgments about any shapes..this is PURELY FUN/INTERESTING.

    Hourglass--42-32-42

My chest and hips came in in 6th grade and while they get bigger and smaller in proportion...they never go away.

    I'm a spoooooon but I don't look at all like a pear...weird

According to the site: http://www.shopyourshape.com/calculate-your-body-shape.html the pear and the spoon are two different body shapes. The hips of a pear are more sloped than the hips of a spoon (which tend to have defined upper hips which appear to create a "shelf").

With my boobs and defined waist, I always thought I had an hourglass figure. Turns out I'm a spoon. :ohwell:

The shopyourshape site describes me to a T when it mentions that I (as a spoon) gain weight in my lower abdomen before gaining in my thighs - and that I gain weight in my upper arms (and upper thighs). I've always hated my arms :grumble:

When all is said and done, I actually kinda like my shape - especially as I slim down.

Hour glass! Although now I just look blobby as I'm really overweight, but I still have a waist. Back when I was slim (UK size 6-8) my waist was 23 inches!

I used to be an hourglass. :( Right now I guess I'm a spoon. Hopefully it will all even back out!
