I know I'm going to sound insane but here goes....when I started this weight loss transformation, I was 360 pounds and 5' 4" tall. I started this journey in July 2009. Recently, I noticed that most all of my jeans and yoga pants are too short so I got my sister to measure my height and I've grown one and a half inches. (oh, and I've lost 197 pounds so far) I had her measure me 3 times to be sure and I was barefoot. I've been 5'4 since I was in high school and I only weighed 115 pounds then. So, what are you guys opinions on this?

I know that when I lose weight, my pants seem to get longer? but never measured. Felt it was due to pants not having to stretch over the bulges~ lol

My boyfriend has actually gone from about 6'3" to 6'5" since he started working out consistently. He's always had a significant swayback which has straightened up somewhat, and the best part is that it's eliminated his sciatica symptoms (which were becoming debilitating at only 25 years old). His doctor says that it's an effect of strengthening/developing the core and back muscles, providing more support and allowing better posture. Perhaps something like that happened with you?
  • I thought that mine were longer too because they were no longer having to stretch over the bulges too, irisheyes!

Zug, that may be the case with me. I never thought about that!
