Hi,

I've been using MFP for a couple of months now and have managed to lose some weight (15lb, 7kg). I have found it a great tool to keep track of my food intake. I'm 51 and have just moved out of the "morbidly obese" category (as defined here in the UK) but have along way to go.

I would like to add some more friends to keep me company on this journey!

    Hi Nigel well done on the weight loss I'm from sunny Bolton in England but have met some lovely people on here from America although they did get a little confused when I started talking about certain foods! haha feel free to add me I have recently moved from the obese to over weight category so feeling very positive at the moment!

    HI, I am still in the obese stage. I started on April 9,2012 but have been overweight most of my life. I used to be a bad stress eater but trying to get it under control. I have tried I think all the diets on the planet. LOL. I am trying Food lovers diet now. I should say I am trying to learn to eat right. I'm not losing a lot of weight but I am losing inches. I chart here everyday and it does help to keep track of what you eat.
    Where are you from in the UK? My late husband was from the UK. I got a chance to go there about 5 years ago. It was very nice. What are you doing to lose weight?
