Aaagghh. I've been doing great with my eating lately and don't want to blow it. My mother is coming over for dinner tonight (an early mom's day celebration) and my plan was to grill steaks and veggies. Apparently she hates steaks! WTF?? Anyways, I know she loves Chinese food, so now carryout is the plan for tonight. Anyone have any menu suggestions that won't ruin all of the hard work I've been putting in?? I really love meat, but most of the dishes I've looked at were pretty junky-looking nutritionally speaking.

Most chinese place menus have a diet section where you can order plain steamed vegetables with chicken, shrimp, etc. Try to get it with brown rice if you do carbs, and drizzle on a little reduced sodium soy sauce for flavor or use the hot mustard for a kick.
