Thoughts on protein shakes on non-exercise days?

I just started using a protein supplement because I have always struggled getting enough protein. I also struggle with eating enough calories so I thought it could help on that front as well.
My question is, do any of you drink protein shakes daily, and is it bad to do so?
I've heard a lot of mixed responses. Has anyone done the research?

Thanks in advance! :)

I don't drink them daily, but if I don't train that day, I add things like fresh fruit and spinach, sometimes oats or flaxseed. I make it into a meal.

I drink a protein shake almost every day, usually for breakfast. I use the Premier brand that I can get at Costco. I find it's a great way to add protein after my usual morning workout. On weekends when I don't go to the gym, I still take a protein shake just because it makes sn easy breakfast. Sometimes I'll have one for lunch just to avoid going out for fast food which is notoriously bad for one's health. I've found great success at losing and maintaining my weight by concentrating on get the protein first and keeping the carbs to a minimum.

I drink a Whey protein shake after I work out at teh gym. I mainly do it becuase it boosts my protein to build lean muscle. It also takes away some of the sorerness I days where i really push it. I have still managed to lose weight while taking it, but i only do 1 scoop in water.

The one I use is Body Fortress Whey Protein.

I have them whenever I need to get more protein in to meet my macros, whether I am working out that day or not.

I have one almost every day for breakfast. Keeps me going. I often add fruit or almond butter, plus a bit of ice. Truly yummy!
