I was invited with some friends of mine of an outdoor crossfit workout. I have no clue what to expect. I have done high impact workouts such as Running, quite a few JM workouts, A p90x workout..and a touch of insanity. Not sure what to expect, but was wondering if anyone has done these type of workouts and asking for advice. Could it be too much..especially if im not doing too high impact too often?

Crossfit if completely tailorable to your skill level; you can use different weights, different scaled techniques, etc. to adjut to wherever you are fitness-wise. That being said, I went through a multi-session (5, maybe?) training course to learn all the lifting techniques associated with their workouts to make sure I did things safely and correctly to minimize injury. So just make sure you let the trainer know it's your first time and they should show you techniques and how to adapt to your level!

    Have fun!
