I know this has probably been talked about before, but... yeah. I can't be bothered to scroll through pages and pages of topics!
So, I just ordered Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. I know loads of people have tried it, so tell me - what's it like? Will I get fit or die trying??
Any comments, especially positive ones, welcome!! :-)

Its a good work out. I hated it while I was in the workout, but felt great after. Slightly sore the first week, but the I switched to insanity so I never finished the full month. I liked that week , it was a good base to get started and I have a lot of friends who are doing it and really like it!0

It's not easy, but it's not unachievable! I'm doing it right now and I'm on level 2. I've combined this with the gym to obtain my current goal You'll be fine just stick with it and push through. You will be sore but i promise if you skip a day because your sore the soreness will just last longer! I did it the first day and almost quit the next because i was so sore but instead I pushed through and yes I admit it took a few days but the soreness subsided until I started the next level :P It's alot of give and take haha0

LOL, get fit or die trying.
Starting out, you'll feel like you're gonna die! It gets easier though (somewhat)!! The full level 1 workout is on YouTube if you want to check it out for a heads-up. In the video there is an advanced and a modified version to most of the moves...most of the time I find myself follwing the modified versions, but on some things I do the advanced. Just do what works for you, you don't have to do everything perfectly right away! Good luck0 -
Days 2, 3 &4 you will be sore, but keep doing it. The soreness gets better, I promise. I always did the exercises/stretches in the cool down twice as long and some extra stretching after that. This DVD is well worth the money. I'm doing Ripped in 30 now.0

It will feel like you are dying the first couple days. Felt great after, though. I did it 5 days straight, and I could do better each day. I am restarting it today after 3 days of not doing anything due to work schedule.0

Just did my day 1 there this evening. Sweated lots and have a big crazy red face to show for it now. I did lots of extra stretching as the cool down is very short on the dvd.
Had attempted this before, only managed 4 days but I'm determined to push through this time.
Good luck with it!0
