Wife and I just had turkey nachos that were awesome so I plotted this recipe in my head. It would served with 1 serving of Baked Lays tortilla scoops(120 cal, 16 chips) or something else baked.

Ground Turkey Breast Extra Lean 99% Fat Free - Cooked, 4 oz
Velveta - Nacho, 0.25 cup (2 oz)
Franks - Original Hot Sauce, 1 tsp (5ml)
S&W - Premium Black Beans, 50% Less Sodium, 1/4 cup (2 oz)
Beans - Pinto, canned, 0.25 cup (2oz)
Fresh Raw - Cilantro, 1 oz
Cottage cheese - Lowfat, 1% milkfat, 2 cup (not packed) (16oz)
Taco Seasoning, 4 tsp. dry mix (6g)

Using a blender/food processor mix all ingredients til uniform texture and bake til hot.

The Cottage cheese would primarily act as a filler with lo cal, carb and high protein but with the strong flavor of the cilantro, beans and taco seasoning it should turn out good.

The total for the entire recipe would be about 27 oz with Cal 692 Carb 46 Fat 8 Protein 94 .
If served in 3oz servings it would make 9 servings with Cal 77 Carb 5 Fat 1 Protein 10.
Of course then you need to add in the chips. So 197 for 3oz with 1 serving of chips(16 chips or 137 for 3oz with 1/2 serving of chips(8 chips),

I have NOT made or tried this recipe yet I am wanting to get input on it prior to trying to make it. If i get positive respone I may make some tomorrow to confirm outcome.

So is it gonna be a dip, if so it seems good. I wasn't sure why the ingredients were gonna be blended otherwise. Definitely give it a try. All tasty ingredients.

You may want to try queso fresco or ricotta instead of cottage cheese, also Choula hot sauce may add better flavor without as much vinegar. My worry would be that the velveeta might curdle.

I've often used low fat yogurt instead of sour cream so think the cottage cheese should work fine with a little more texture than sour cream or yogurt. Go for it!
