Getting back on track!!!

Ever since I returned home from school, I've had a really hard time staying on a diet. I always wake up wanting to be healthy, then fail sometime throughout the day. Also, I'm a runner, but a few days ago I hurt my knee. I'm not really sure what happened, but it hurts badly every time I walk. I stopped running for a bit to let myself heal. Are there any cardio exercises to do that aren't bad on the knee? (Besides swimming, b/c I don't have a pool.) Also, I need some sort of advice or motivation!!!

you can do weight training for cardio if you keep the weight low and reps high0
