Burgers?

I loved a good cheeseburger.. Nice and juicy and a bit of char to it. And don't forget about all the making of it.
But when I started my life changing diet and habits, my fiance made me a burger a couple days afterwards. I ate half of it. It was so delicious but it gave me the worst stomach ache ever. And yesterday I had a 2 egg omlette with bacon tomatos and cheese. It seems like when I eat some of the food now that I use to eat, my stomach disagrees. I'm just wondering what I could eat that will taste just as great to curve my burger cravings but not upset my stomach..

I love Jennie-O turkey burgers with sandwich thins. I purchase the frozen ones that come in a 2-pack. I cook both so I have something for the next day.
Everyone's stomach is different so I can't suggest anything that won't upset yours.0 -
You didn't say what your fiance's burger was made of, so I don't know if it would upset your stomach, but I like my grocery store brand Seasoned Turkey Burgers (170 cal) grilled with a Healthy Life Hamburger Bun (80cal). I do sprinkle with Montreal Steak Seasoning before grilling. I load mine up with pickles, tomatoes and onions and I don't miss the cheese, and a dab of some Garlic Mayo (made with lite mayo). VERY filling, not made of veggies or soy, so it doesn't seem to set anything off. I would think that depending on your cal goals, you could probably add a slice of 2% Milk Cheese (or two) and add extra low-cal veggies to round out your plate, instead of a starch. I will say I did not love making Turkey Burgers out of my own Ground Turkey, they didn't taste great, but I have mixed ground turkey with Lean Ground Beef to make a patty, or even a bit of Bulk Italian Sausage. Obviously, it increases the cals, but taste is pretty good.0
