Actually 2 of them bound into one. Some of you may remember that a couple of weeks ago I posted about feeing winded during week 4 of the C25K program and that I was having doubts about being able to do it. Well, I took your advice and I slowed down and I moved onto week 5. My schedule today was to be such that it would be difficult for me to find time to fit in the run. So, part one of my NSV, I got out the door and ran at 6:30 am. Huge accomplishment for me. Second part of it...I ran for 20 minutes straight!!! I can't believe I did that. Just 3 months ago I was huffing and puffing after 60 seconds and this time I did that times 20!! I'm signing up for a 5K in July and now I feel like I will be ready to run that one.
Thanks for letting me share!
