: When I go to the gym I like to do the elliptical, Stairmaster, cross trainer, and the bike. I usually pick three of these options, and do about 20- 30 minutes on them. I have always had a problem with the elliptical with my feet getting tingly, and I know that that is common. However, I have started to have pain in my toes, and the front part of my foot. It kinda feels like the bones are cracking. It is making me have a hard time staying on the elliptical for even 20 minutes. It really is messing with my workout. I am not sure if I should get new shoes with more cushion. If anyone has had this problem, or if you have any ideas on how to fix my problem, I would love to hear from you. Thanks:flowerforyou

Try different shoes first, like a broken in comfortable pair is what I would do. i have had my running shoes for over 3 years and still cant break them in right to where they dont hurt! so i would start out trying another pair that you already have and then see for there.. even if they are just canvis shoes of something good luck! 0 good luck! 0

you might need a new pair of tennis shoes. If you use them everyday, you are supposed to buy new ones every 6 months I've heard.
I have rhuematoid arthritis, so the bottoms of my feet always hurt.. sorry I don't have any tips for you on this! 0 0

try googling this question!! lots of information! i had the same problem a while back!
one thing i remember that hasn't been mentioned was that some people curl their toes while walking & this could cause numbness & tingling. also watch how you lace up your shoes. good luck!0

I also workout like you. What I did was slow it down a bit, it helped. Also try different shoes. I do better with basketball sneakers.0
