Hello everyone,
My name is Kara and this whole thing is kind of new to me.
There has been multiple times I've tried to diet but it just hasn't ever stuck because I have no freedom of buying my own food. I'm 20 and still live at home with the parents while I go to school for college. So really, I'm stuck with eating whatever they buy and what they make for dinner.
Anyway, I'm super embarrassed about my weight. I have *always* been the fat kid in school or even at family events. My mom was big, but she had bypass surgery so she lost a ton of weight and I feel like I got left alone in this battle. We had been talking about dieting together but now I feel as if I'm just stuck. I'm not sure where to go from here.
I'm considering just doing zumba in my room with the help of youtube videos, I'm not really sure what else I can do however.
Feel free to friend me, I may need some more support in this endeavor! I really want to shed these pounds and experience, for once in my life, what being thin feels like!

Congrats at getting started!! Just remember each day is a new day and we have to start the day the same way. I too have tried several diets and I was also the fat kid growing up. I missed my reunion cause of my weight so I know how you feel. It is tuff with the limitations that you have but I bet you can do it. If you ever want to chat let me know and I would be glad to be an ear and shoulder for you. Good luck and you can do it.0

I have, many times! Things just don't stick and my mother always buys junk food. It's so difficult to resist that stuff when it's just sitting there. She recently bought 4 packs of oatmeal peanut butter cookies just because they were on sale.. bleh.Girl! Try some jillian Michaels Videos " banish fat boost metabolism" its a great way to start
