I will get stronger, leaner, and more fit. It might just take awhile.
I went shopping yesterday. I'm in-between sizes, blarg. The only thing that would fit both my waist and my hips/thighs was workout wear. I've decided it's what I look best in. Kinda weird wearing it all day though - would make it easy to do quick workouts outs, hmmm.
Hate shopping. I tried ordering some stuff on-line. We'll see how that goes.
Did my yoga and weight classes yesterday. Time for cardio today - either Bob or elliptical.

Happy Earth Day... I decided to plan out my whole day (meals, exercise, cleaning, class) so that I knew what was coming and how my progress was before hand... I did this yesterday too and it worked for me because once I had it already logged in the the system I felt like I had to do it... I worked out because I had already planned on the cals and have been eating them... i ate what was on my menu because I had worked out hard to earn it... It's funny because I used to do the same thing in a journal and it would never work because I could just tear out the page but for some reason doing this here is helping... I am really starting off this week on a high note because of it...
The plan... exercise...
30 min circuit training...
60 min house cleaning and yard work...
60 min walking the dog...
food...
pre workout... oatmeal with raisins...
post workout ... protein shake...
lunch... pb and j (my guilty pleasure)
pre class snack... fresh veggies and dip and some cheese
dinner... baked chicken breast, rice, and a salad
my day...
I am going to do laundry at the matt...
I am going to finish clearing the yard and plant the grass and flower seeds...
I am going to vacuum and do dishes
Sorry for the long post ladies... I hope you don't mind but this seems to help me...

Today is cardio. . .either my BL DVD or try some walking with interval running. (It's another beautiful spring day. . .) I found a trail near my house that will keep me a little less self-conscious about it. I've never run before, but lately I'm into the idea. . .partly because of the efficiency of burning more calories in less time. I'm planning on taking a break from writing later in the afternoon.
Mary, I too hate clothes shopping. Nothing, but nothing fits. I guess I have an unusual body shape? I have fits finding a shirt that fits me in the upper arms.
I was thinking about the BL people big calfs, which I have. I've only lost an inch there after losing almost 90 lbs. My upper arms are my other area that, although smaller, still aren't small, especially now that I'm getting muscles.
I've been living in yoga pants lately.

Hi all. I'm proud to announce that I have two more pounds to lose & then I can say good-bye to the 170's forever! That will put me at my VV challenge weight. Seems like yesterday that I was saying good-bye to the 200's but it was November 28th...
I'm also tickled pink to announce that my third grandchild-due in September-is a GIRL! We have had all boys for 25 years & I get to buy little girl clothes! I am sooo excited!
I did Hip Hop Abs Total Body Burn and took a 1/2 hour walk with the kiddies. Planning on another walk around the block after dinner. So nice here......0 -
Jenn, write as long a post as you want. That's what we're here for, that's what you're here for! I know I wouldn't be where I am now without a LOT of support from these ladies! :flowerforyou:
I'm two for two this week. I pushed pretty hard on the weight yesterday & am sore today. Not as bad as the first week, but the kind where you feel good to have pushed yourself. Tomorrow is upper body. My ultimate goal is to get into a size 4/6. I'm there based on measurements except for my hips/butt. Still need to lose 5-8 inches off that area. And even though my waist is back, it's not pretty; all jelly baby belly, so more work there.
Keep pushing hard ladies. Next week is already May (what happened to April???) so the challenge is winding down. Buckle down and work a little harder each week. You can do it :flowerforyou:

Had a really good day elliptical first thing for 30 mins (could have done more but didn't have the time) Walked the dog for an hour and then walked my son to and from school total 2 hours of brisk walking.
Ate well too nicely within my limits and feeling pretty gr8.0 -
