What's on your health food store must have list?

I've got a Trader Joe's & a My Fit Foods that I venture out to once in while, but it's not close so I really have to take advantage of the trip. What are your must haves that you can't find at a regular grocery store?

So far I'm thinking:
- better quality granola
- buffalo meat (or grass fed beef)
- quinoa bread (or something like it)
- PB2 (maybe)
- reduced fat cheese (maybe)

what else?

    Oatmeal, turbinado sugar, and powdered non-fat from the bulk bin.

    Coconut milk--my regular grocery store rarely stocks it

    tvp-textured vegetable protein. It's usually $1.99/lb at the bulk section. 1 cup dry and 1 cup water is the equivalent to a pound of meat. It has lots of protein and fiber and you can use it to stretch out your meat. For example, I make "meaty" spaghetti with it and we use it instead of meat in chili. It has no flavor and takes on the flavor of whatever you mix it with. My husband soaks it in beef broth and uses it in everything. For example, a meatloaf I would use 3/4 meat and 1/4 tvp. You can't even tell it is there.
  • Bulk bin items....lentils, beans, brown basmati rice, etc. Also, I like hemp milk, pure stevia, goat cheese/yogurt, and dried fruit (without added sugars and oils).

    Sadly my local health food store is more of an expensive vitamin & supplement store. I don't buy much there. The nearest Whole Foods is 60 miles away :frown:

    I ended up ordering the Nutritional Yeast Flakes I wanted from Amazon.
