I'm a pescetarian, but eat mostly vegetarian. I eat seafood maybe 3-4 times a month. I have already eliminated certain large fish from my diet (due to higher mercury levels among other reasons) and am considering cutting out all seafood in the near future.
Since I started tracking calories on MFP and paying attention to macros, I noticed I am way under my protein goals. On average I get about 50 grams a day on the days I don't eat seafood.
I'm sure if I made an effort I could increase my protein intake but I was curious about other vegetarians out there.
How much protein are you getting on average per day?

Hi. I can't believe I'm still awake, but I guess I am. LOL. I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian. My doc (I'm on a medically supervised plan o'diet) has upped my protein to 80grams a day. It's depended on my numbers (height, muscle mass, lack of medical issues with kidneys, etc.). Happy protein eating to you! :flowerforyou:

It says I should eat 55 per day of protein (before exercise), and my average is approx 30-40 each day
