I just want to say this...

I LOVE strength training! I weigh more than I have done for a while, but thanks to weights I look so much better than I did at a lower weight. I would strength train everyday if it wasn't bad for your muscles.
Also, just one question. Since I only use dumbbells (I work out from home) what are some exercises for the back? I do bent over and upright rows but I don't really know any others. Any suggestions?

I agree!! Love it, addicted to it.

You could do deadlift, cleans, pullovers to name a few. I recommend the app Fitness Buddy as it has a ton of workouts, different exercises and it shows you proper form. It also has workouts geared towards women. I switch up my routines often our of boredom and this has helped alot.

For Dumbells? I would look into getting the original P90 (not X) series and doing the sculpt circuit. I thought it was a great pre-cursor to the heavy lifting I just started.

I too am becoming addicted! I just invested a bunch of money into barbells and I am building my own power rack. I love it.

Thanks! I do deadlifts mainly for legs but I'll look into pullovers and cleans. Also whether they sell P90 in the UK, I've heard it's supposed to be quite effective.
